In the month of October, Hard Rock International adds a pop of PINK in honor of the brand’s 13th annual PINKTOBER™ breast cancer awareness campaign! Hard Rock’s commitment to breast cancer awareness and research continues for a 13th year this October with a variety of offers and activities in “Pink Weekender”.

MONDAY 1ST OCTOBER – Pink Parade. The parade aims to raise awareness of breast cancer in Pattaya area. Comprised of staff from Hard Rock Hotel & Café Pattaya, Bangkok – Pattaya Hospital, Pattaya Cit
y Hall and Central Festival Pattaya Beach, and other friends, the parade starts off at 3pm at Hard Rock Café and marches along the Beach Road. All are invited to join and let’s wear pink!

FRIDAY 5TH OCTOBER – Pink Night. Join us as the café turns pink for one night. Enjoy our pink cocktails, and pink Salmon. Dress in Pink to enter a draw to win cool prizes.

SATURDAY 6TH OCTOBER – Pink Foam Party with DJ Poon, spinning her blend of electro & techno house. Free entry for all Thai ladies. Special drink promotions are on offer. Dance your night away!

SUNDAY 14TH OCTOBER – Pink Plastic Fantastic. Enjoy our guest DJs Mike ‘The Butcher’, and Ronny Slamma, spinning vinyl only all night from 8.00pm till late – Soul, Funk, Boogie, classic and rare. Enjoy Pink Cocktails and 50% off all house pouring drinks all night. Entry Fee is THB 50. Proceeds will be donated to our charity.

KIZOMBA by Nelson Campos from UK

Kizomba is a dance and music that was created in Angola in early 1980s. It is also performed in other lusophone African countries, in Europe and in USA. It is known for having a slow, insistent, somewhat harsh, yet sensuous rhythm; the result of electronic percussion. It is ideally danced accompanied by a partner, very smoothly and slowly, though not too tightly. A rather large degree of flexibility in the knees is required, owing to the frequent requirement that dancers bob up and down.

Since Kizomba is new to our Salsa community it is advisable to find your own dance partner or you could post a ‘shout out’ below if any of you are looking for dance partner, this way we could help each other’.
